Paraffin waxes are complex mixtures of many substances. They mainly consist of saturated hydrocarbons. These crude oil derivatives are purified and refined by modern, environmentally friendly technology (e. g. high pressure hydrogenation). This paraffin wax is free of harmful substances. All highly refined products are constantly monitored by a stringent quality control and are non-toxic. Their environmental properties are characterised by good biodegradability and non-cumulative effects".
Easy to measure out as the wax is in small pellet/bead form.
As with all wax, do not leave unattended - this is combustable!
For best results melt in a double boiler.
As this is a paraffin wax - take care when discarding any unwanted/used wax, DO NOT pour down the sink as it will clog the pipes over time leaving you with a very hefty bill. The best thing to do is pour into an old tin can wait till firm then throw away. Wipe out saucepan/ melt pot with kitchen roll immediately.
